Step 1: Connect to VPN
- Open FortiClient
- Connect to the correct VPN profile
- Open
https://presale.app.pentera.io - If you get 403 or Access denied, continue to the next step
Step 2: Check if IPv6 is being used
- Open Command Prompt
- Run
ping presale.app.pentera.io - Check the address shown in the reply
- If the address contains
:characters, IPv6 is being used
Example:
Reply from 2600:9000:26dc:3600:13:4d54:3c00:93a1
If you see an address like this, disable IPv6.
Step 3: Disable IPv6 on Windows
- Press Windows + R
- Type
ncpa.cpland press Enter - Right-click your active network adapter, usually Wi-Fi or Ethernet
- Click Properties
- Find Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
- Clear the checkbox next to Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
- Click OK
- Disconnect and reconnect the VPN
- Open

Step 4: If it still does not work
Open a ticket with IT and include:
- A screenshot of the 403 or Access denied error
- A screenshot or copy of the
ping presale.app.pentera.ioresult - The IP address shown in the ping result
- The VPN profile you are connected to
- Confirmation that IPv6 is disabled
